Faculty of Agriculture,
Iwate University

This faculty aims at studying the technology of stable agricultural production of bio-resources such as food in cold regions, and at systematizing them. To do this, life phenomena are studied on microscopic scale of gene, mesoscopic scale of life body, and on a macroscopic scale of community or landscape. In addition, sustainable agricultural production systems are searched by natural and/or social scientific methods, so as to satisfy the environmental conservation and our coexistence.
